Welcome to the 53rd edition of the Magazine Museum’s web site. As you might have guessed, we are not showing artists works this issue. We are, however, continuing our look at the chronological gallery of the best magazines in the world. We last viewed this series in October 2018, in mm#31, when we showed magazines for the years 2010-2019.
Yes, dear reader there are still viable, important, exciting magazines out there. There are still a lot of good magazines in existence. You might have to look hard sometimes to find them. Some of them are not printed, only digital or on the web, but they are out there.
We have selected 22 such magazines. These 22 magazines are just as exciting, just as meaningful as those magazines in the good old days back in the stone age years of the 20th century. You can find a lot of them on line, but some are still in print format. The Magazine Museum is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to the glorification, presentation,and preservation of magazines. We wish to acknowledge and pass on an appreciation of both the power of the printed page and the beauty of graphic visual communication. We will do this by means of five departments:
